Digital Video can be used in multiple ways across many different KLA's. The obvious areas are the arts and english where students can watch, analyse techniques used, editing skills and building towards creating their own video.

This video can lead to many possibilities. It can be used to demonstrate different visual literacy components such as camera angle, lighting, focus etc. Students can analyse this information or the teacher can point them out. The rap itself can be analysed as a non-literary text. It is a good model to show students how videos can be created with simple budgets and materials yet still be highly effective, entertaining and capture a large audience.
This particular video can be used as an engagement activity for students. Links can be made to health as well as SOSE as it looks at the pop culture of fast food.
Videos provide an excellent tool for teaching. I do find videos such as visual effects breakdowns very interesting, as it shows how they created the scene and what tricks they used to do it.
